Hi all!
The Big Manhole Trip for the weekend of July 19-20 is on!  In addition, Ron Lipinski has secured the use of a GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) and we will be trying this out at Manhole on Thursday and Friday.  With any luck, the rainstorms that have covered New Mexico the last several days will be gone and we'll be able to get some useful information from this unit.  At the very least we should be able to use it over known areas of the cave and see what we get.
If you want to help out on Thursday-Friday, we wil likely get started around mid-day Thursday.  The dig itself will get started on Saturday morning, as usual.  
We actually have only about 7 participants at the moment, but as I said before, if we had the use of the GPR, we would make the trip happen, no matter how many participants.
If there are any changes regarding the trip, I'll try to get an e-mail out on Tuesday evening, so check your e-mail to see if there are any updates before making final plans.
