Below is the Fort Stanton Project schedule for 2008. As you can see, the trips last for more than a weekend. Arrangements can be made for just a few days. However, often the project will skip a couple of days so there's a bit of planning involved to make sure you're not travelling all the way to Fort Stanton to work only one day. 

April's project, Apr. 26-May 4, goes Saturday through the next Saturday (8 days). Let me know if you'd like me to forward the subsequent newsletters to you.

Fort Stanton Cave Study Project trip schedule for 2008.

 

April 26 - May 4

June 28 - July 6

October 11-19

 

There will be an announcement and call for volunteers about 3-4 weeks before each major trip.  The announcements will contain details regarding specific tasks and activities for the individual trips.

 

There may be additional short trips scheduled during the year as needs arise.

 

Many thanks and congratulations for all the help and accomplishments for the 2007 project year.  We hope to see all of you during the 2008 project year - there are many challenges and accomplishments to come!

 

There will be another newsletter in the next few weeks giving an overview and some details of the plans for 2008.
