Dear NSS Grotto Representative:

In July 2009, over 2000 people from across the globe will participate in the 15th International Congress of Speleology, to be held in Kerrville, Texas.  In addition to the Congress activities, there will be more than 30 pre- and post-Congress field trips to 15 U.S. states including:

Alabama
Arizona
Arkansas
California
Florida
Georgia
Hawaii
Kentucky
Missouri
New Mexico
New York
Tennessee
Texas
West Virginia
Virginia

Participants will also schedule private caving trips to other U.S. destinations.

Many of the attendees are not NSS members.  Let them know about your Grotto and how to get in touch with you during their visit by placing an ad in the Congress program.

We are offering a special NSS Grotto ad rate of only $20.  You can put your Grotto logo, Web URL, contact name and phone number/email address in this ad so the participants know how to reach you.

In addition to Grotto ads, we are asking Grotto members to promote their business by placing an ad in the program.  

Our goal is to raise as much money as possible by March 2008 so we can make the registration cost reasonable for anyone who wants to attend the Congress.

Help us get the word out by placing the attached ad in your next Grotto newsletter.  If you have room, perhaps you can run the ad in the Dec, Jan and Feb issues, reaching as many potential advertisers as possible.

We are also looking for sponsorships.  Would you also consider running the two-page ad explaining the Congress sponsorship levels and benefits?  I've attached that info as well to this email.

At a minimum, we hope your Grotto will place the $20 ad in the Congress Program.
